I thought about all the times I’ve known that people were lying to me. Their eyes shifted to the left or you can just see in their eyes that they are not genuine. To me it’s clear but others don’t see it. I find who people really are in their eyes and generally don’t hold friendships with those whose eyes aren’t sincere. When someone shares messages of faith and honesty but their eyes are cold and hard, they are just speaking words without true conviction behind them. When someone says that they want to hear what you have to say yet their eyes say that they can’t wait for you to stop talking, it’s useless to try and forge a further relationship with them because it’s all fake.
